The wait is over for European homeowners looking for a smarter, hassle-free way to maintain their lawns. Segway-Navimow has officially launched its highly anticipated i Series in Europe, marking a major milestone for the brand that became the global leader in wire-free robotic mowers in 2025.

Designed with "Drop and Mow" simplicity in mind, the i Series is engineered to be foolproof, allowing anyone to unbox, set up, and start mowing without needing a technical background. By removing the need for physical perimeter wires and complex antenna installations, Segway is redefining the entry-level smart mowing experience.

Innovation in the Palm of Your Hand: The i2 Light System

The core of the European launch is the Navimow i2, a consumer-friendly unit specifically tailored for small to medium gardens.

  • Solid-State LiDAR Navigation: In a first for the industry, the i Series utilizes solid-state LiDAR technology. Unlike spinning LiDAR units, this system uses an invisible 3D laser to map the surroundings in real-time, creating a high-fidelity representation of the lawn's contour and boundaries.

  • EFLS 2.0 & Sensor Fusion: To ensure the mower never gets lost, Segway employs "Sensor Fusion". It combines LiDAR data with RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) satellite positioning, 360-degree cameras, and wheel encoders. This means that even if tree cover or buildings block satellite signals, the mower continues to navigate with precision.

  • Systematic Mowing Paths: Forget random patterns; the i Series uses intelligent path planning to maintain perfect stripes on your lawn. Users can even customize the orientation of these stripes—horizontal, vertical, or diagonal—directly via the app.

Conquering Tougher Terrain: The X4 and Beyond from Segway Navimow

While the i Series handles standard gardens, Segway also showcased its broader 2026 lineup for more challenging environments.

  • Navimow X4: This flagship model is built for yards up to 2.5 acres and features four-wheel drive to conquer "Double Black Diamond" slopes of up to 84%. It also utilizes Network RTK, which uses cellular towers as reference stations, eliminating the need for a separate antenna tower in your yard.

  • Floating Cutting Deck: High-end models like the X4 include a floating deck that adapts to the contours of uneven ground and potholes, ensuring a consistent cut regardless of terrain.

  • Teranox Commercial Series: For the "prosumer" and commercial markets, the Teranox series can maintain properties as large as 6 acres (24,000 square meters).
